For his case, I’d disable the VOD permanently. What will happen is even though he takes the Unpin approach, if his parents do a search for a movie, I’m more than certain that a movie with ads will be circumvented to that query and they still will be bothered by it. Disable it permanently so the movies and tv titles don’t get searched or pop up using the UI. For testing purposes I did disable the VOD service and typed up a couple of movies that were offered from it and the results come up 0 for the titles. Unpinning will just mean if he has to do a app reset or home screen UI reset, the Movies and TV Show VOD will still be a default option that will show up on the UI.
