Command line scan alternatives Windows

Hello friends.
Forgive my English.
I noticed that for some time now the command line scan no longer works in newer versions of the plex server. I would like to know an alternative since I prefer to scan only a folder via Windows cmd. I looked it up but couldn’t use any of them as I don’t know much about it. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks

Use URL commands instead. https://support.plex.tv/articles/201638786-plex-media-server-url-commands/
The curl utility allows you to make these queries from the command line.

I’ve type this:

http://127.0.0.1:32400/library/sections/73/refresh?path=“E:\A\Plex\Movies\terminator”&X-Plex-Token=mytoken

Did not discover the new content, only showed this message

  • Scanning the “mylibrary” section
  • Library scan complete: Extra information may still be downloading from the Internet

But when I click scan for files in the plex web interface, then discovers the new content

You need to URL Encode your path if you are using it from the command line with curl
