I have a Pinnacle PCTV 801e (USB HD Pro Stick) that I have connected to my Windows 10 machine and would like to add it to my Plex Media Library but Plex can’t see it for some reason. I’ve tried installing the TVCenter software from Pinnacle’s site and the tuner picked up channels and was able to play in the TVCenter application but still cannot be found in Plex.
I saw in the community supported tuners spreadsheet that the 801e is listed as supported with no additional drivers necessary.
I’m wondering what else I might need to do for Plex to discover this tuner.
EDIT: I realized I was selecting the wrong server (I have a Mac and a Windows machine setup as a server). After selecting the right one, then checking for connected hardware, it worked to start a channel scan
