Mostly I think Plex is just an incredible interface and it does everything I want, except: 1) import playlists made from other software and 2) make playlists available over DLNA. I don’t understand why this is, but I find it an incredible limitation and it’s leading me to question whether I want to keep paying for my Plex pass. There are some feature requests: here and here, but I’m not really hopeful.
The open source community structure has a nice feel here, but did you notice that there is no way to write to Plex employees to talk about whether these things are even possible? We don’t get any feedback or response about feature requests so we’re just left totally wondering.
Anyway, it’s a great product but these limitations are quite debilitating.
