Configuration problem. Plex Server running on OSX cannot be detected on clients on the local network

I am having difficulty connecting to the Plex Server from a machine located on the same local network as the server.

Connecting to the server from the same machine works fine. It appears to be a networking issue.

The attempt that has yielded success was to reboot the network box ( Google Fiber Network Box GFRG110) with the server computer connected to the router via ethernet. After router reboot the Plex Server is available. However, the server loses connection it will be unreachable again after reconnect.

This trick does not work if I restart the router and leave the plex server connected via wifi.

The router has UPnP enabled.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I’ve tried standard troubleshooting:
