Consent preferences

What is going on here?

I just checked the Plex Consent Preferences page where I do know - and I am 100% sure of this - that I had unselected every single checkbox and sat all the radio buttons to NO.

But, to my surprise, this option was checked.

And this one was set to Custom, meaning that some checkboxes - probably new ones - had been checked by default, disregarding my previous option of All No, which I have now reset.

Can you double check that you’re signed in?

Sure

I was when I opened the page - and still am - signed in:

And some of the checkboxes where unchecked and in the All Yes / All No section there was a third option: Custom.

This leads me to believe that at least some of my previous preferences were still honored.

Sorry, did you actually select NO for every box previously or did you use the All No previously? I will understand if you may not remember . We’re trying to dig through logs to confirm on our end.

The last time I did this, some months ago, I used the radio button All No instead of setting every radio button to No. Faster this way.

Did the same now again.

To me it looks like new providers have been added and their related radio buttons are set to Yes by default. That’s why there was an extra radio button Custom in the All Yes/All No section.

Also, this checkbox was checked.

I can’t even load the page because of my ad blocker, that doesn’t make sense at all. I disabled the ad blocker and it still won’t load.

I selected All No, and the box was checked for me. this is a joke. Please Plex can you stop opting people in by default.
