I am looking to manage content ratings for my main Plex account. I see how to adjust for other users under plex home but not for my home admin user. Is there another way to adjust this or is that something that’s coming in an update?
I enjoy Plex movies and tv shows, live tv and such but don’t want to see unrated or R rated items.
There is no way to restrict access for the Admin user, nor should there be. The Admin needs to have complete access in order to perform admin tasks.
The general advice when someone asks this is to create another user for yourself, either a managed user or, if you have another email address besides your admin, make a user for that. Set your restrictions for that user, then use that user for viewing, and only use the Admin user for admin tasks.

I understand admin needing complete access but if I’m the admin and only I have access to change it then shouldn’t I have the ability to choose not to show R Rated content on movie selections under “Movies and Shows on Plex”?
Otherwise, I have to make another user with a different email and redo all my watched and unwatched shows and movies and other settings and preferences.
Seems like quite the work around for something that could be easily changed with a checkbox or toggle setting in the admin account settings.
