I shuffle smart playlists for nighttime background viewing. In the morning, the Continue Watching section shows an entry for everything that played, and they all show the progress bar as being complete. If I select the item, it will start the video at the beginning. It ONLY seems to happen with videos played from playlists.
I have the same problem. I added all of my Doctor Who episodes to a playlist to get them to play in the right order (when I want) and to not see specials I don’t want when shuffling. I typically shuffle at night when going to bed to break up the monotony, but then all the episodes it shuffles through show them in continue watching, but they have been played all the way through. If I try to start watching them again, it just starts them from the beginning. Every day, I have to go to the show, mark it ask ‘mark all unwatched’, then toggle it back to ‘mark all watched’ to get it to clear, because there are too many to go through manually and fix.
Hopefully devs will see this and fix it soon!
