Hello, i get the question from title when i visit the webpage on my plexmediaserver.

This is from my local network, i have this network and another both in the “allowed without auth” list.
The other network (which is routed before getting to the server) can use the media player without problems. Also from localhost there is no problem.

Can someone point me to what might cause this issue from one of the networks? I have tested firewall (port 32400 is reachable), routing (however client is on same subnetwork as server) and dns (hostname used is reachable), and none of those seem to have any issue delivering information between client and server.

I cam here looking for the same. I think this is “Plex Inc” strategy to join the bad boys out there and force us to be 'net connected regardless of our settings.

When I ponied up my Lifetime money local IP addresses without auth worked but they’ve done the old bait-and-switch on us and this settings seems to have no meaning anymore.
