Hi, I wanted report a continuing issue with ONN 4K streaming boxes from Walmart and Plex.
I have had to revert back three times now to 1.40.5.8921 from the most recent version of Plex Server. The issue appeared on update 1.41.1.9057 and the version before that and the latest 1.41.2.9200 update. My server is on Windows 11 and I have an Nvidia Shield Pro and two of the ONN boxes.
With the 1.40.5.8921 version of PMS, everything plays fine. With the three most recent updates to PMS, the ONN boxes hang and the circle spins and spins then eventually errors out. The happens on my Pixel 7 Pro as well. When playing certain movies, specifically The Dark Knight and Batman Begins. The picture never appears and eventually I get an error message. The video is VC1 and True HD audio.
When I fall back to the 1.40.5.8921 version everything is back to normal and plays.
Has anybody encountered this? Any fixes? Would a reboot after update help or would that be of no help?
