Looking for a way to start playing media (movie/TV show) on one client and then swap it to another client without interrupting play.
For example:
Start watching a Movie on a client in the Lounge, then select to transfer to watching same movie in the Bedroom without having to stop on one client and then start from current position on another.
Depending on the clients you're using this is already possible. I tend to use the Windows 8.1 app across my devices. From it I can simply select a second client device as a remote player. Upon doing so whatever I am watching, at its current location, starts playing on that second device. I believe the same functionality exists within the Web client, and also the Android client (other feasible clients you may be using in your lounge).
Unfortunately as far as I'm aware Plex Home Theatre cannot be used to control remote players as its intent was to be the de-facto front-end itself, and not a remote control solution.
That said it's a nice idea. For as long as PHT is supported and used I think this functionality should exist. If my devices were using PHT instead of the Windows 8.1 experience I'd surely miss the feature myself.
