Conversion failed. a required codec could not be found or failed to install

I just started uploading mkv files for my Blu-ray DVD’s now when I try to play these new mkv files I get conversion failed. a required codec could not be found or failed to install. I am not really tech literate I have read some posts but none seem to be the same issue.

is there anyone out there that can help? all my movie files work on emby but I like plex’s file system better
