Everything was playing fine last night, but today I’m getting errors about the codecs. I noticed this site said you thought you had fixed an issue but to open a forum topic if we’re having issues. Please advise on how to fix this asap
Have you restarted PMS as per the banner message?
Restarting PMS makes no difference - https://plex.tv/api/codecs/h264_decoder?build=… still reports <Response code="429" status="Limit of devices using codec exceeded"/>
I chose to exit PMS from the system tray of my PC and then relaunched it after I saw that it was no longer present in task manager. If I was off base in my approach or understanding then please let me know what I should do.
Well…without any further intervention on my part it’s suddenly working today. I’ll take the win
