I have not, I’m new to Plex and haven’t been able to sit down and learn it in depth which is why I figured it was user error.
I started having the same issue, newest plex installed/reinstalled, no messing with chromecast profile. I cast to Chromecast Ultra, subtitles are transcoded from SRT to ASS. Both embedded and external. The video plays for 2-4 min and then the stream turns off chromecast saying “Something went wrong”, while on my tablet it asks me if I want to continue playback on the tablet. The plex server still thinks the stream is going on for a while before realizing it isnt as if it didnt get a notification from the client. If i disable subtitles I can stream the video fine.
