hallo everybody
i have plex on my desk to have all my movies in drive and watching on my samsung tv before 3 days some movies made me do that Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error
has it happened to anyone else?

A mí me ocurre lo mismo en un televisor LG.
Cada cierto tiempo se para la reproducción y aparece el mensaje de error del transcoder. Parados unos segundos, le doy a reproducir y continúa hasta el próximo error.

Please recreate the problem and then provide the log from PMS.

Please provide that info.

The only solution I have found, has been to go back to the previous version. Now everything is fine

I uninstalled the current version of plex as follows:

  • Stop Plex from the icon in the taskbar.
  • Uninstall Plex from the Control Panel. Do not use any external tool, nor use tools that can modify the Windows registry in any way.
  • Install the previous version, which is the one you were using without problems. In the Plex TEMP folder " \ Plex Media Server \ Updates" you have all the versions that you have been updating.
  • Normally install the version that worked for you. No need to reboot.
    With this I have kept all the Plex configuration without having to do anything

Thanks for that info.

I changed my scanning to once per day. Since doing that, I have not had any of the transcode errors. I may just leave it that way for now. But if the errors return before Plex fixes this, I will then downgrade.

i bay apple tv and i run plex … end dont have problems now ! but in app plex for samsung or in my pc the erros transcoding is everyware ! maybe is the player
