Happens with live TV every time I try to run it too. Wonder if any of the developers/support folks even care. I’ve had my request for help, but I am not getting any input from PLEX. I’m thinking we are hosed! Seeing multiple folks with the same exact issue.
Same issue, with the PS4 app.
And with the following browsers on the PC hosting PLEX. PC is Windows 10. I’ve tried in: Edge, IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Same lack of functionality.
Manually updated the server pc with the windows updates mentioned in a different thread, seems to have cured the problem. I am however still getting some failure from remote TVs, ‘playback stopped, lost connection to the server’ although the connection is good. Plex error messages are diabolical!
So I’ve fixed this, short version is the Android TV app is a broken piece of s***. Downloaded Kodi, installed the Plex add-on, everything works perfectly. Files that won’t event load on the Android TV app work quickly and smoothly. Come on Plex, this is a poor effort!
