Check out the Channels app which will let you watch live tv directly off your hdhomerun without any server required.
Thanks for the info, but I donāt want to pay for another app. I already have VLC and InstaTV which are free and let me watch directly from the HDHomeRun. However, I paid for a Plex Pass so Iād obviously like it to work.
Whatās funny is that VLC, which is open source, actually has a bug reporter and tracker and their developers have been working on a bug I reported and I can follow their progress. Iāve never paid them anything.
Plex uses this forum and you never know whether your problem(s) are considered bugs by them or not, or if they have even read the post or ever plan to fix the problem. I wish they could improve their support.

I wanted to add Apple TV and iOS logs to this thread. I hope the developers will take a look and find something of use that can fix this.

I just downloaded the latest version of PMS. I can watch live TV again. It is a bit choppy and I have had to use the aforementioned āworkaroundā occasionally. Maybe I can fiddle with a few quality settings and have smooth operations. Thanks to the developers for their continuing work on live TV and DVR issues.

Just tried 1.15.1.707 and TV tuning via the Apple TV is still not working for me. Again Iāve downgraded to 1.13.8.5395 to get it back up and working.
No comments/acknowledgement from Plex staff since this was initially reported in November 2018. Itās like theyāre phasing out TV tuning via the AppleTV.
Sad times ahead.
