Since upgrading the Plex Media Server to 1.13.8.5395-10d48da0d I am unable to record or watch live tv. If I revert back to the official release instead of the plex pass release 1.13.5.5332-21ab172de it works again.
Could you please get logs so that the problem can be investigated
And is it specific to a plex app or all ?

I have just run a test and it failed again when trying to watch something live on my iPhone. I get the same results across multiple devices so not device specific. the test time was 14:44 BST today

I am having the same issue with CBS Shows last night since updating to the latest version. Attached are the logs from my Plex Server.Plex Media (15.7 MB)

Would like to check how many DVRs show up in Server Settings for Live TV and DVR and which DVRs are operational with an antenna / signal and which not - is it a USB DVR that is live?
I can see a tuning error - i will continue to look at the log
Also - unrelated - noticed what looks like a loop communicating with device on 192.168.1.33 - would like to see a wireshark capture taken on the server whilst Plex Media Server is running to see what is causing this loop - you can send me logs and zip of the wireshark pcap file by private message for this

I don’t know if you still have the issue but areas to explore would be the antenna / signal and testing the tuner outside Plex Media Server - make sure Plex Media Server is shutdown when you do that
The channel for which the tuner failed to return any data for was channel 107.
When testing with Plex Media Server, make sure the WinTV app is not running
You can test out channel 7 using curl.exe in a command line window - download curl.exe from curl - Download - link for windows downloads curl for Windows
Download the curl project 64-bit - current version 7.61.1
unzip and pick the curl.exe from the bin folder and copy it to a test directory - eg
C:\Users\Delcher\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\DVR-Curl-Tests
For the curl request you will need the server token to put in the curl request. To find a server token, see https://support.plex.tv/articles/200890058-require-authentication-for-local-network-access/
The test in curl would basically try to capture the stream from channel 107 from the tuner (whilst Plex Media Server is running - but not using any tuner)
So start a command line window
cd to the directory you saved curl.exe in
CD C:\Users\Delcher\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\DVR-Curl-Tests
Then prepare this text to paste into the window

The xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx at the end you need to replace with the server token string
When you have that text ready including the quotes - paste into the command line window and press Enter key
If it is successful, you will see the time and size incrementing as it writes the stream capture to the file DVRChan107Grab.ts in that directory
You can break-in after few minutes and check the file with a video player
And please see my earlier post about the repeated requests to 192.168.1.33 which I would like to follow up in case there is a bug in PMS when requests are rejected
I will try and go through some of the recommendations you have listed and also provide you with a wire shark output. Could the loopback be something to do with Tautulli that I have installed.
I would just reiterate that although you suggest the issue relates to the receiver. I can confirm the receiver works fine on the public release of Plex media server. It only became an issue after upgrading to the latest beta version, so I don’t understand how it can be anything but a problem with PMS. Also other people are complaining of the same issue after upgrading.
the last release killed my dvr. I cant tune any channles now as well. Keep in mind everything was working fine for months.

I can see they were scheduled but at some point they stopped to show up. The log does show some timeouts to cloudflare for requests for the EPG data but at this stage I cannot see a link betwreen the timeout and the loss of the 2 scheduled items
Could you get me the output of nslookup tmsapi.plex.tv
You can run this in a command line window
I will refer the logs to the development team. I have not yet looked at the second set of logs

I attached the screenshot. One thing I did do was add a channel (that I can’t get) from the DVR/Live TV option, do a refresh of the guide, then remove it and do a refresh again. After that I am noticing that the shows are now show up in my DVR catalog, but won’t show in the On Deck like it use to. I can deal with that, as I have them. I’m running it on a Windows Server 2016 and patch it monthly, so it does get a restart at least once a month.
If you need more logs or anything else, please let me know.

Do you have logs from both versions of Plex Media Server for channel 107?
We do not have a beta at the moment. The current version is public and there is no separate beta
It is a repeated set of requests to 192.168.1.33 that are getting a 401 error - it relates to SSDP - so some application announcing itself when PMS searches through multicasts but when PMS tries the url announced by the application on 192.168.1.33 it gets a 401 response
So need to know what is running there and wireshark will help establish if the loop is caused by PMS or the application on 192.168.1.33 repeatedly broadcasting its availability
When I say beta I am referring to the version that is only available to Plex Pass subscribers which shows up when you have beta channel selected in the media server settings for updates. I will downgrade the media server and send you the logs of the previous version.
Which logs ? I do not see any logs from you other than the snippet of log that shows an error that is the same as seen in logs from @pdplexvideo
I have replied to your linked topic asking for full logs to allow me to compare and also asked for logs from the version that works
