I have a lot of photos in plex and want to add tags. I would like to give a common tag to all items in one particular folder (705 photos in it) but can only select photos one at a time. Could we have a “select all” feature please?
Hold the Shift key and click on the first photo
scroll down, hold the Shift key and click on the last photo
You can inlude/exclude single items from the selection with the CTRL key and click.
That’s great. That works. Thank you. BUT, when I select any more than 15 items, the edit pencil disappears from the list of icons on the top right so I cannot add the tags.
Am I doing something wrong?
I can’t confirm that. Is it possible that there are videos among the photos? Because these are different types of media and cannot be edited together with photos.
Ah. You are spot on. Thank you. Clearly you are a Plex Ninja!!
It’s a shame we cannot tag videos in the same way. I really would like to keep all my holiday memories in one place and not to seperate the photos from the videos but I guess that is another matter.
Thanks again for your prompt assistance.
