Cpu 100% on some transcoding's. How can I fix this?

Server Version#: 1.15.4.993
Player Version#: IOS 5.14 (iphone X)
pms specs: 8700k , igpu enabled in bios but selected 1080 ti as primary for now
ssd nvme 960 evo , win 10 pro updated to 1809
Plex Media (3.1 MB)

so the issue is some movies use 100% cpu utilization and others don’t , some going for software transcoding and others hw. I want to use HW transcoding to be able to stream or direct play few videos at the same time
first picture the hw transcoding works perfectly but second movie it uses software right?
its the same format if am not mistake

and here i changed the audio i thought maybe its choking on single core audio transcoding
and the speed is 28 but its buffering forever and never play

Did I post this in the wrong section?
I am not getting any replies

perhaps because no one has an answer?

from your pictures I don’t see why it would transcode hw for one movie and not the others.

you can see the HW indicators on the first one for decode 4k > encode 1080, but not on the other 2.

you probably need to monitor your logs and perhaps that will provide a clue why HA appears to fail.

do you have a monitor connected to 1 or both gpu ?

I plugged One gpu to a monitor (1080Ti ). I dont have 2 monitors

So you think the video needs the built in igpu to hw ? But then the other video dont need it and it works with 1080 Ti hw …!
Weird

Also i tried disabling the igpu in bios it didnt change anything still the same weird behavior and i tried the beta plex server also nothing changed

From my experience the media is as important as the power or your cpu/ram/hardware transcoding/software transcoding/etc.

I have had more than a dozen different servers. From atom CPU to nividia to a 7gen I7 .

Even my latest Server has issues with big size high bitrate media.

I am suggesting its your media not your hardware.

Either you were starting and stopping streams in quick succession or it just failed after 23 streams.

Not that I advocate this but are you using the hacked drivers to get past the 2 concurrent stream limit?

1- i stopped the streams trying to trouble shoot why its not using hardware transcoding

I cant watch it on software
So i kept trying many times

2- the hacked drivers only works on limux if am not mistaken

3- i have stock drivers almost the latest one
I am IT guy so i wont come to forums unless i became desperate and tried many things , and i dont install latest drivers on this machine because i try them for a while on others to make sure it wont coz me issues etc…

Ao my drivers are only 1 month old and they are the official one’s

I can give you other examples they do the same as long as its software transcoding
My usage and content must use hardware otherwise it wont finish buffering forever

So the problem
Isnt the content as much as its hardware have to do the coding soo :3

Lets say i will build another plex server soon because this is my gaming pc is igpu from inte 8th gen like i5 8400 better than quadro p2000 ?
Not talking performance but compatibility wise and support for more harware transcoding with plex

Also can it handle :

3 4K transcoding to 4K
At the same time another 3 1080p transcoding to 1080p/720p

At the dame time

So like 6 total but 3 of them heavy 4k some hdr and some are not
