The latest Plex app running on my Apple TV 4K systems crash when trying to delete the last episode in a series as recorded by the DVR function I use on my macOS Plex Media Server. When experiencing this issue, my Apple TV returns to the application list, so I need to relaunch the Plex app. It launches fine and the content has been deleted from the server, but it’s annoying to need to frequently relaunch the app.
In May 2020, I reported the same issue at Crash - Apple TV when Deleting Media. The bug was fixed with an app update that was released sometime in May 2020. I started noticing this crashing behavior again about a week ago, so it was reintroduced in a very recent update.
