Getting a crash when I try to play episodes of a show. Playback attempts to start, I get a spinner for a short bit, and then the app crashes. Have tried with multiple episodes of the same show.

Update: I’ve found this plays back on my Shield Pro, and also my Android phone, but it plays back transcoded. Not sure why yet. Video is HEVC (and fairly low bitrate), audio is stereo AC3, and subtitles are ASS, all things the client should be able to direct play. But at least the program is playable on my other Android device instead of causing a crash.
I tried a remux of one of the episodes of the show and had mixed results. Sometimes it allowed it to play, and sometimes it still caused a crash.
I ended up replacing the files with something else for the specific series.
