Live TV playback crashes on Fire HD8

Streaming live TV now crashes after a minute or so (not timed it) when using my Kindle Fire HD8 (Gen 10) tablet. Streaming on my other devices such as Fire TV 4K seems to be fine. Also no issues using my Android Mobile.
I have tried installing the Play store version of the app and the issue persists. I think this could be an issue with Fire OS???

Same here on all my Fire Tablets. I don’t think it’s specific to Fire Tablets as I also see it on my Nvidia shield and several others are seeing it elsewhere.

It’s been happening for a few weeks now. I initially thought it was poor WiFi as I spotted it in a bit of a blackspot area of our house. Does not seem to impact my android mobile though.

Is anyone actually looking at this? The latest app update does not fix the issue and it’s dragging on. The live TV function is proving extremely unreliable.

I have just installed latest app from Amazon app store. Issue remains.

Seems like the same issue as this one.

Just installed latest update on fire hd8 gen 10 and my Linux server. This issue seems to have been fixed. Fingers crossed. :upside_down_face:

I have not been using my fire hd8 much but today I see this issue remains. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I have done a little testing on this and it seems like it might be channel specific. I test both UK BBC1 and CH4. SD channels crash within approximately 4 mins. HD versions of the same channels do not seem to crash. Just a thought.
