I'd like to see the ability to be able to create custom [sub]sections, specifically for sharing with remote users.
I don't want to share my entire library, or even my entire Movies library, with remote family members, but I would like to share a family-friendly subsection.
Apparently the way to do this currently would be to micromanage the folder structures used for my movies, and then create a section per folder structure, but that would be a total pain.
This feature would allow the use of custom criteria (using Plex's own filters) to define a section.
Taking this a step further, the ability to be able to manually flag certain movies to be included (or excluded) from a section, would be excellent.
Collections handles the first two. Combined with Parental Controls, you should be able to deny viewing on sections but allow it on certain collections within sections. This would seem to solve the case rather well.
I would suggest adding this to the Parental Controls thread.

Collections requires manual intervention regarding file structure, which may be fine for some, but I'd much rather be able to arbitrarily choose what defines a collection regardless of the file's location on my hard-drive.
Do Parental Controls affect MyPlex user accounts that you're granting access to?
