So recently I had trouble with the computer that’s running Plex so I had to reset Windows. The backed up database was on faulty drive so I decided to go with a fresh installation and lost all the watch history and all. I pointed Plex to the external drives with my media and it created my libraries but without any collections. I ended up having to create my favorite Collections manually.
The problem I’m having now is after adding the original Toby Maguire spider-man to the library, it was automatically added to the Spider-Man collection I had manually created for the MCU Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. I would want to have a different collection for those but am also thinking of creating collections for other movies I have such as Die Hard, Terminator, etc. Will I have to manually create collections or is there a way to refresh the libraries and have Plex figure out which movies belong in a collection and just add them?
