Does anybody know what’s going on with the critic’s rating % here? It was fine up until a few weeks ago. Whenever I added new shows or refreshed / rematched other shows, their ratings will start showing these ridiculous percentages.
Which agent is the Library using?
I’m using tvdb.
I don’t like the new plex tv series agent.
It was fine till a few weeks ago and then this started happening? Could it be an issue with the latest server version?
Dunno. The old agents aren’t supported any more, but I wouldn’t expect this to happen.
I changed a test library to the TheTVDB agent, and can reproduce what you see.
It’s pretty easy to modify the old agent code to return None for the ratings.
Oh how do you do that?
I would suggest switching to the new agent. The old agents are going to rot eventually. Or to just ignore the funny numbers - they do kinda mean something that’s related to popularity.
For the TVDB v4 agent you’d comment out these lines where metadata.rating is set:
try: tvdb_rating = float(tvdb_series_data['score'])
except: tvdb_rating = None
metadata.rating = tvdb_rating
