Has this ever been a feature, or is it ever likely to become one?
It seems a little odd to click on an actor’s name and have only their movie appearances /or/ their TV appearances, rather than being able to see them all grouped together (e.g. Lizzy Caplan has “Masters of ■■■” and “Party Down” in my TV library, but “Mean Girls” is displayed separately for her if I search under film).
Also, any likelihood of being able to edit the actors on a series, or upload our own pictures where Plex doesn’t have one? Sometimes it doesn’t seem to catch all the major actors on a TV series.

YEARS have elapsed and not one move toward anything resembling a solution in this area and to make matters worse, if you have more than one Movie Library Plex only returns results from the Movie Library that Movie resides in. This little ‘quirk’ was worked out LONG, LONG ago by the developer of RARflix. That developer is now working for Plex, but STILL Plex refuses to budge a millimeter on this often requested, always ignored user feature.
It’s almost like Plex doesn’t care what users want… no, wait… it’s EXACTLY like Plex doesn’t care what users want!

I can’t imagine this being a complex feature to be added.
I agree that it still REALLY surprises me that Plex does not show BOTH movies AND TV shows an actor is in, when I click on their name/portrait.
I see this as a bug, but could also see where devs might consider it a feature request.
Is this where I report bugs, and/or request features?
