While a Plex Pass “Premium” Music Library looks nice and slick, users who listen to music would surely be better served if priority was given to supporting CUE files.

Cue support would be a real nice feature to have added to plex. I might even consider using plex to play some music if they got off the craptastic mp3 split file mentality plane and actually took audio playback a little more seriuosly.

Whats the point?! That’s the way normal people keep backup of physical media (Music CD/DVD/BluRay) these days.

Plex have never supported disc based formats. Most “normal” people have them in MKV or MP4 containers, not .ISO.

As a paid user of Plex Pass, I believe this feature is simply something Plex should not be missing. There are a lot of good reasons for properly managing the .cue sheets - it would of course require a separate thread to discuss al of this in detail - but in short I would say that any “serious” lover of digital music would benefit from such a feature. Thank you for considering my vote!

+1 for this. My entire lossless collection is FLAC with embedded cue sheets, not going to split or transcode everything. That’s what Plex is for.

So does the new Plexamp have this? So sad I still have to use Foobar2000 to play my FLAC files. I’d love to be able to retire my Logitech Media Server but can’t until this happens…
I treat Plex more and more as my replacement for physical media but I still want the quality and that’s where Flac shines. One file per album is much cleaner than separate tracks. Please add support for .cue files!

Plex folks- How long do we need to request this to get it on the roadmap?! I cannot and do not use Plex for music because of this!
But yeah… its been over 100 likes, how many do we need for this to be greenlit? Or open up the option to add custom scanners and metadata agents for Music as well similar to how Video is done. I wonder if its possible to add cuesheet support to custom scanners and metadata agent.
