Cursor icon doesn't disappear in full screen the first time. Must be moved again before it goes away

When entering full screen and playing media the hand icon remains on screen and must be moved a second time before it will disappear. If I switch to another application with Plex in full screen and then go back to Plex and press play it will also remain on screen until the cursor is moved for a second time.
