Not consistently, but when going back from a channel to the grid, the highlighted program is not active. The only option is to press UP to get to the main list of channels (main,Plex channels,featured etc.) and exit the live to option and choose say, films, then go back to live tv. - Steps to reproduce (these will make it easier for development to track down)
Difficult as it is not a consistent feature.
Do you know which model of Apple TV you have. Does it matter at all how long you have been watching a channel? Like if only on a channel for 30 min then go back is it fine but if you go back after several hours does it happen more. The time may have no affect just curious. Sounds like potentially a memory/caching issue but I have not seen it myself.
That’s a good question. It is the Apple 4K, but it generally, I think happens after some time watching the channel - not when cycling from one to another on a quick basis
