Custom album sleeve notes in plexamp?

Plexamp is great and helping me rediscover my best albums rather than getting lost in streaming land…

Would love to be able to read a saved PDF of sleeve notes.

  • Best option would be for Plexamp to include a link to PDFs stored in the album folder (like Qobuz or Roon)
  • Another nice option would be if in the Review field I could add a clickable link to a url - then I could just save the pdf to onedrive or similar
  • I even thought I could save a URL QR code as album art, but I don’t think Plexamp lets you have multiple album covers?

Love to hear if there is a current option I am missing. This would add some of the joy that listening to vinyl or CDs had… also be good for those who like to store sheet music or librettos with the files.

You can always copy and paste the sleeve notes into the “Review” window.

Yes, have started that, but some have graphical content or music scores. Unfortunate that the review field is text only - even markdown with the ability to include a URL would be great.

This is how Roon do it - if there are pdfs in the album folder a link appears…

I prefer plexamps flexibility in most ways compared to roon. This is a nice feature tho.

There is a grammy for best album notes, still. Be nice to be able to plex them when able.
