Custom Metadata Tags Randomly Disappear

Hi, I’ve been running into a repeated issue where custom metadata tags I put on titles don’t seem to stick, particularly when it comes to Genres and Collections. I’ll wake up one morning and see that titles have fallen out of certain collections. They’ll also have had their genres reset. Whenever I edit the metadata on a title, I always lock it but this doesn’t seem to be a permanent action (and of course I always click Save). I also have automatic library scans disabled.

It seems that sometimes playing a title within a collection will also remove it from that collection, but the problem also appears to happen randomly, though usually the issue is reserved for recently added titles.

Is there something that can be done here?
