Hello, I was wondering if anyone had issues with editing metadata and it refusing to change what you are directing it to change to. I use a program called Tag Editor that I have used for a while now and have never had ANY issues with. There is one particular track I am trying to delete the track number on (as in, it would have no track number at all attached to it), but it keep defaulting to track 2 no matter how many times I edit the track and delete the ‘2’ from it. Any suggestions?
In the past I’ve had that happen when there were multiple types of tag on a single file. ID3v1, ID3v2, APE. Is there a “clean other tags” option, something like that?
Do other changes “stick”?
It can also happen if the file is just … busted. Corrupt somehow.
