Custom server access URL does not enable remote access

I have enabled Custom server access URL with external IP:32400 (32400 is my plex port). Even after enabling this my remote access test still fails. I am able to access my network from outside using my iphone but unable to access it using my ipad. Am i missing something to properly enable this so that the remote access test will be successful in plex.
