Chrome media player is probably not the correct term to use. My keyboard has a media shortcuts where it can do basic things such as play, pause, back, forward music. In addition, I also have a Logitech wireless headset where it can pause, play advance music as well.
Chrome Plex app doesn’t seem to support all the functions. It can only pause. Is it possible to customize chrome to make it work with Plex? I am aware of the keyboard shortcut from Plex.
Unfortunately, a user cannot customize anything about plex web.
If you need your media keys, use the Plex Player for Windows/Mac or Plex Media Player or Plexamp instead.
They all support at least the media keys Play/Pause, SkipFwd/Prev (Plexamp doesn’t do Stop, but that is part of its concept).
