I can only get the media keys (play/pause/skip) to work on plexamp if plexamp is launched before i launch a chrome browser. If I start plexamp when I have a chrome browser window open the media keys wont work. Closing chrome sometimes resolves this, but most of the time I have to close chrome and plexamp and then launch plexamp to get them working again. I have logitech G710+ keyboard
Is there any way to get chrome to stop stealing the media keys.

@DeanKellham thanks for the suggestion. I don’t have any of the media keys in chrome mapped. BUT I did still have the old Plex Chrome App installed. Even thou I wasn’t running it was still stealing the media keys when chrome started.
TL;DR disable or uninstall Plex Chrome App
I just wanted to add what was causing my issue to help others. I didn’t have the Plex Chrome App installed, but I did try the Google Play Music App awhile back. This was taking over the media keys for me, and Plexamp recognized them again when I removed the app.
