Customizing Text in the Main Interfact of Plex Players

There is one huge thing that is stopping me from paying for Plex, and it’s the fact that it has the worst accessibility when it comes to font size and readability of any program I’ve ever seen. So my feature suggestion is interface customization on the most basic level possible: font style (serif/sans serif), size, and color, and maybe an option to change the overall background color of the app. From an accessibility standpoint, I am surprised I don’t see more people discussing this in the forums as a suggestion, but as someone with extremely bad vision I am literally unable sometimes to read the font even with glasses unless I’m right up against the screen. Windows scaling does nothing to fix this problem – the interface fonts are immune to size changes. I feel like it’s product design 101 to make your fonts have a clear hierarchy that scales with the display or is customizable, but Plex has no options or means to make the app readable and everything I’ve read has shown this has been a problem for the better part of a decade, if not longer.

Thank you for this suggestion, i completely agree!

Myself as well, please.

Titles are good, but categories & details are squint print on the Roku app.

It’s also confusing why this is still an issue after all this time.

Bargain bin shareware offers UI controls, is it that big of a challenge for the players to do so too?
