I have a Roku and the font on the Plex app seems to keep getting smaller with each update. I now have to go up to my TV to read the menu bar on the left or any description for any show/movie etc. Font size should be configurable! There is certainly plenty of space to accommodate larger fonts. This issue should be a high priority. Who is going to want to use an app where the text is illegible? I know I don’t. This is a serious issue and is making me question my loyalty to Plex.
The font on the EPG for Live TV is actually bigger than it used to be. All the other fonts seem the same as they always have been.
I agree font should be configurable though! But this can become a huge rabbit hole in itself. How many different font settings do we need? There’s many aspects of the app in which the font size is different. Do they make an option for each section or do they just make an app wide setting eg: make all fonts +1 bigger than they already are?
Or maybe they could have a high contrast mode.
I never use the live TV feature. I got Plex to manage MY media. But, I just checked and even the font on the Live TV screen is too small.
Configurable font size is still the right way to go. There doesn’t have to be as many font choices as a word processor, but four or five larger font size selections should be good enough.
