I have plex on various devices, ipads, iphones, plex web on my pc etc and I recently downloaded the xbox 360 version to try out.
I have 2 niggles with this version of plex
- When I play something from my library it can randomly just cut out for no reason whatsoever, sometimes the playback will halt and I will get a spinning circle appear like its lagging or maybe its losing connection briefly or I can be playing something and it just stops completely for no reason and a message appears on the screen saying lost connecton with the server.
I dont get this issue with any other plex client other than the xbox 360 and its hardwired to the router too so think there is something wrong with the app somewhere, its random at how often it does it as I can listen to several music tracks or watch several shows before this crops up.
- As for music why does the sound quality suck when playing music tracks via the app, I must admit it dont suck as much as the chromecast version as that can sound really distorted sometimes, maybe its a overall plex problem who knows as it sounds ok when you listen to stuff via head phones and same goes for chromecasted stuff.
