Its still says updating library. Task manager shows a slight increase in cpu usage but everything else is flat, disk , memory, network.

Where do you see it updating library? At face value, mine seems normal after install - but I cannot access any settings for PMS and nothing seems to play.

Mine has a popup window saying it’s updating the database. My server doesn’t come online. I never had to restore my database from the backups before. So I am trying to look up how to do that.

Out of sheer dumb curiosity, would you guys be willing to share what happened technically, and/or what the fix was?

Not everybody experienced the problem. Were there triggering conditions? (activities??)

I’m super impressed with the communication and pace of the fix. :+1:

It’s not working at all.

With the previous version (PlexMediaServer-1.23.6.4810-15ce0e21a-x86_64_DSM6), at least I got on the server. However, I couldn’t play a single file. With the new version that you have offered here, the server is completely inaccessible.

I rebooted and it seems normal now. Things are playing and I can view settings.

How long should we be waiting for it to finish its startup? Mines been going for almost 90 minutes and the log is now showing it’s been doing Sync:uploadstatus for the past hour

We sure can!

We hit an issue where the activities cleanup ended up wildly expensive because of a bad configuration on the table. We tried to rectify this with a migration, but that was equally slow (:scream:).

So, for now, we have disabled the cleanup and will revisit next week.

I run mine on Windows, i would be no help. I was just asking to share what I did. But I think you are in the right place, they seem to be helping with all platforms here.
