Edit 9/8 8:20PM : Added system information.
Edit 9/11: removed logs

Thank you for capturing and reporting so well with your OP.
I’ve already messaged the team member who specializes in deadlocks & crashes.
Please leave everything as is until he instructs otherwise. (probably tomorrow)

Thanks

You are welcome. Anything I can do to make it even easier or any other metrics to capture, for the future, do not hesitate to let me know.

I have have created a few scripts to automating data collection. I do not mind adding more to it

Scripts I created incase someone else would like to capture the same information.

Thanks very much!

Thank you very much for all the work on getting the diagnostics. much appreciated.

This has now been referred to the development team

The problem started at 15:37:10 (after about 36 hours running)

@sa2000 Can I remove the log files? I would prefer not to leave them up longer than I need to.

Yes you can remove them - I have everything I need

@sa2000 does the latest Plex Media Server address this issue? I saw a fix for HDHomeRun tuners and was not sure if that applied.

I am afraid there isn’t a fix for this. It may not be straightforward - what is the frequency ?

Since the crash happened relatively quickly after the upgrade I downgraded back to 1.13.6.5339 but that version also has a memory leak when transcoding certain audio… High Memory Usage Transcoding 4K content. I was just asking since I saw mention of a crash. I was not sure if it was related.

I would not expect deadlocks to be frequent as they are to do with some specific timing conditions and I thought that the deadlock was not new in 1.13.7

The fix for the crash in the release note is for those in this forum topic Stability issues with 1.13.6.5339

Are you still getting the deadlocks seen here before?

The latest beta 1.14.0.5468 does address a deadlock but it is different from what was seen in your process dump.

I updated to the latest (1.14.0.5468-5a0183d2c). I have not experienced a deadlock since my OP. If it does occur in the near future I will update this post.

Thank you for following up.
