I am sick to death with this bloody error. I get it daily. Files will start off fine then will randomly stop working because of a “decode h3” error. Some files refuse to even play. Until the last two or three updates I never had a problem with plex. Yet the most recent updates have caused nothing but problems. I’m really f**ked off with it.
I want an answer. I want plex to fix this problem so I no longer have this problem. All my files are h.264, either MKV, AVI or MP4. They play flawlessly on every player I have and in older versions of plex I had no issues.
Yet the last couples of months or so. Nothing but problems.
Yep and nearly another whole month of Decode h3 errors and still no f**king changes or fixes to this persistent problem.
I figured id try a different platform ie EMBY to see if the problem existed or even cropped up on another media server system, and guess what…the files i keep having issues with on PLEX are flawless on EMBY.
A service im paying for and have been having problems for over 6 months and i dont know how many issues that i or others have raised and PLEX staff have done nothing. F**K PLEX!
Im taking my money to EMBY. Ive noticed the transcodes are faster, the streaming is actually smoother, the ability to track forwards or backwards actually syncs up quicker. The hardware acceleration is more noticeable (ie i get more simultaneous streams at highest quality)
I wish Plex all the best but after 6 months of unresolved problems, i cant stand it anymore.
