Right now, I use my Plex setup as a means to catalog and view my MythTV recordings, and my devices are mostly Apple (with a Roku and Kindle Fire HD mixed in). The issue is that none of these devices natively support automatic deinterlacing of video, while my local TV signals tend to be interlaced. Is there a way, in PlexConnect, that I can force the server to always deinterlace, or is this a client setting? TV recordings are unwatchably jittery without it, although forcing on the transcoder works (is there a setting to force this on?).
