How would that work? Plex would just detect the file again in the next scan, adding it back in.
- (Now that I think about it, this would be a GREAT option for troubleshooting. I can’t tell you how many times I had to Plex Dance an item because I was doing file manipulation/upgrading and Plex failed to run detect intro properly. Being able to do all the functions of Plex Dance without having to move the media physically would be a godsend.)
Anywho, the only way I can think of being able to remove an item without deleting the source item would be if you were in your local “Downloads” section of your library. Deleting a local download would not remove the item from your server itself, but would remove the item locally.
