I see there is an option for deleting items in a playlist, wondering if there can be an option to delete a playlist entirely. Say I want to make a playlist of items I want to see, and when I am done to delete it. That way it can I remove as much clutter as possible and not keep playlist of stuff I don’t want to see anymore.
On your Plex server, there is an option to “Allow Media Deletion.” If this option is enabled, you will be able delete single items within a playlist (this deletes the actual file on your storage drive), and you will also be able to delete a playlist (this does not delete the individual files - it only deletes the playlist).
To delete a playlist (assuming the “Allow Media Deletion” option is enabled), do a long-press on the playlist.
i don’t think that “allow media deletion” is supposed to be a prerequisite for that. it isn’t an actual media file which is what that option i meant to protect.
I made a bug report for it. The devs will tell me if I am incorrect.
edit: just checked Apple TV and the option to delete a playlist is there even if “allow media deletion” is disabled. So think this is an oversight on Android, or a regression if it was ever there. (I don’t ever really use playlist myself so never noticed)

And I only enable “allow media deletion” when I’m checking something like this, so I never noticed either. 
I don’t want to remove the media from the server, just the remove a full playlist I would make since I do not need it anymore.
Wondering if you heard back from the dev team in regards to playlist deletion.

Hi, checking in if there is any update regarding deleting a playlist.
should have been fixed in 8.17. I see it now when i try to delete a playlist in the More menu when on the playlist detail page or when long pressing on the playlist item
