Delete old sync destinations

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my iphone and ipad but i forgot to log out on my old devices when i reset them.
Now when i try to sync media content to my devices, my old devices are still listed in the sync destination menu. How can i get rid of those?

thanks

Take a look at https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/devices/all
But careful, only delete the old devices and not those you are still using.
Don’t delete any servers in particular, because re-assigning these to your account is painful.

hi, thank you for the reply. but i had already removed them there, so this unfortunately doesn’t resolve the issue. I’ve had this once before but i can’t exactly remember what i did.

Try deleting browser cache.
If you have other users in your Plex Home, you can switch back and forth, which causes a refresh of most data.

If you have a running Tautulli installation, look at the “Synced items” tab and remove any Sync jobs which still might be existing for these old devices.

Hi, i tried all your recommendations above but none seem to work. The old devices are still present.

Then I have almost no other idea, except:
Let your server run for 7 days. Make sure it is running during the “scheduled tasks” maintenance time period.
Settings - Server - Scheduled Tasks

See if this changes anything

I just figured it out.
I have to go to this link with the actual user on which the devices are shown.

I was going to that option with my admin user, which i only use for administrative reasons. I use a managed user for all my viewing purposes.
The weird thing is, there is no visible option in the settings that this page exists. only the main user has an option for this.
