I take a lot of pictures with my phone that i don’t necessarily want to keep. It would be much easier to be able to quickly delete them from my library on my phone when I want.

I would like to request this feature as well. Why can we delete movies but not photos?

Do we have this added already??? I cant find anywhere on IOS app.

Please add this feature! I have been in need for this feature for years and search the forum for any update on regular basis. I still don’t understand why we can’t delete photos from mobile clients. This is an essential feature to consider using Plex to manage our photos libraries.
If there are implementations difficulties or concerns regarding this feature, as a workaround we could add photos to a trash album from mobile clients, but in this case, please give us a way to delete all photos from album (with a single click and confirmation from Plex Web App).
An answer from dev team would be much appreciated on this subject which seems to be completely ignored.

I would like to allow my wife to delete pictures directly from her photo library and without using my admin account.

For now I gave her my credentials but I’d rather have an option to give her ownership on here photo library and let her add and delete pictures. (she takes a lot and then sort them while reviewing them on phone or xbox).

When you check off the box to allow an account to delete. It does not allow them to delete. The documentation states only the Plex server owner can delete.

  1. Allow the invited user to delete when give that privilege
  2. Allow the delete to happen not only from the browser but also from all the mobile apps and the macOS app.

I started to use Plex not long ago. I added my home photo and video library and set up family members mobiles photo uploading. But when I viewing my photos I see many similar or bad photos, and I want to delete it right away. But I cannot! This feature is absolutely necessary.

The possibility to delete photo’s from the plex library on mobile is also a feature that’s really necessary to use plex for photo’s.
