I just deleted photos and didn’t realize it deleted it from my hard drive. What kind of crazy program would delete from my hard drive? I am new to plex but I never heard of program deleting from my hard drive. Is there any way to get them back again? if I cant get these pictures back I will never use plex again. These pictures were old from 2011. I am so upset. someone, please help.
Guessing you did not read the message that appears when you try to delete the photo that mentions deleting from the file system…
This was a feature requested by users that did not want to have to delete from disk but would rather delete from within Plex. So an option was added to the Library Settings with a warning that it will allow deleting media from disk.
Have you checked your trash or recycle bin on whatever OS you are running? Did you not have a backup of the files?
