Deleted plugins directory

Welp, I’m a big dummy. I accidentally deleted my /var/lib/plexmediaserver/…/plugin-support/plugins/
directory

I attempted to uninstall and reinstall, but no luck repopulating. Will I need to do a purge of the plex packages on ubuntu to get this back?

Please do provide more of a path.

/var/lib/plexmediaserver holds your media Library . This is what Plex knows of your media
/usr/lib/plexmediaserver holds the software.

There is no Plug-in Support/plugins as you’ve named it.

There is a Plex Media Server/Plug-ins directory. This is rebuildable easily. Anything else means we’ll have to rebuild your Library from scratch.

If you remember seeing any files around the directory you accidentally deleted, this will be of great help.

The full path to what I deleted is this:

/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Plug-ins

My bad.

I know that Services.bundle was in there as well as SouthPark.bundle as I had installed the southpark channel. But I believe that was all that was in it.

A further note, I noticed that deleting this removed all of my agents (tvdb, etc…) as I assume they are located within that services.bundle folder. I suck.

Just bumping this. I am probably going to just purge plex from my system and rebuild my library from scratch if I can’t figure this out.

No need to bump. It was that annoyance called ‘sleep’ that delayed my reply. I know… SUCH a PITA!!

Under Plug-in Support you will find
