Safe to delete Plug-ins and Plug-in Support?

Hello. I’m running 1.29.1 on Synology with a Plex library that’s existed since 2017 or so. I was wondering, since plug-ins are no longer supported, can I safely delete these folders?

I’m concerned because Plug-in Support has some files that are recently updated, such as:
com.plexapp.plugins.library.blobs.db*
com.plexapp.plugins.library.db*

Thanks in advance!

That would be the database of your Plex server (in Plug-in Support/Databases).

Suggest you do not delete it.

The Plug-ins directory is empty on my server.

The Plug-ins folder does nowadays only contain one other subfolder: Services.bundle
If you have any other subfolders in there, you can delete them.

The Plug-in Support folder is a bit more complicated.
You better leave anything in Plug-in Support/Databases untouched.

You can remove old folders (inspect the folder date stamp) from Plug-in Support/Cache.
Same goes for Plug-in Support\Data
This is the default content of /Data:
grafik
If you have any additional folders in there, you can erase those.

All of that erasing should be done while the server is shut down.

Thanks for all the replies. This helped me clean up the directory and I think my server is good for a few more years
